AAA Editor Notes
Canada South Science City is at 930 Marion Ave. The world of science is explored through hands-on activities geared toward involving young children in science. Dinosaur Alley displays fossils and includes a giant sandpit where kids can go on their own “dig.” Ecosystems are demonstrated in the Big Lagoon, featuring such live species as turtles and snakes as well as preserved insect specimens. Other exhibits focus on electricity, sound, space, optical illusions and kinetic energy.
Note: The museum is moving to the Forster Community Hub at 749 Felix Ave. in 2017; phone ahead to confirm schedule and admission.
