Woodstock Museum, 466 Dundas St., is housed in the 1853 town hall and features an 1879 council chamber and the restored 1889 Grand Hall, once used for concerts. Eight galleries interpret the story of Woodstock from 10,000 B.C. to the present. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.

Hours: Mon.-Sat. 10-5, Victoria Day-Labour Day; Tues.-Sat. 10-5, rest of year. Closed major holidays and Dec. 24-Jan. 1.
