AAA Editor Notes
Golden and Silver Falls State Natural Area is 9 mi. n.e. via E. Fork Rd. and Glenn Creek Rd. Two waterfalls, both about 100 feet high, and an old-growth myrtle forest highlight its 157 acres. Glenn Creek Road, the main road in the park, is gravel and not recommended for trailers and large motor homes. No drinking water is available.
Note: The last 3 mi. to the park is a gravel, one-lane road. As of August 2016, the final 1.5-mile stretch was closed due to a landslide; visitors may hike in from the road barricade. Phone for updates.
Picnicking is permitted.
