Hanthorn Cannery Museum is .5 mi. n.e. on Irving Ave., just n. on 35th St., just w. on Harrison Ave., .2 mi. n. on 33rd St., .5 mi. e. on Leif Erikson Dr. (US 30), then just n. to 100 39th St., Suite 101; the museum is at the foot of 39th St. on Pier 39. Exhibits at the museum occupy four rooms in the former 1875 J.O. Hanthorn Cannery building and include historical photographs, cannery equipment and gill-net fishing boats.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.

Daily 8-6. Closed major holidays.
