Old Aurora Colony Museum is at 15018 2nd St. N.E. at Liberty St. The museum celebrates the immigrant experience of hundreds of Germans and Swiss who founded Aurora in 1856 as one of the first Christian communal societies on the West Coast. The complex includes the 1863 ox barn that houses the museum, an 1871 Colony house, an 1871 log cabin, historic quilts and a 42-year-old herb garden. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
