This pub has been in operation since 1988 and still brews beer in the same location. The chef creates dishes to complement the house beers. Many items—breads, sausages, soups and sauces—are made in house or from locally sustainable sources. Menu favorites include salt and pepper calamari, verde chicken and white bean chili, the "Meathead" pizza and the dry-aged rib-eye steak. Gluten-friendly and vegetarian items are available. The peanut butter pie in a malted Oreo crust is habit-forming.
