Pros: The bathroom was clean and lovely tile work...but only one for many people. I thought it might be "shared" with one other room, but this was not the case. The grounds surrounding the hotel were well kept and lovely as was the hotel especially for the age of the building. The room was HOT, small and little ventilation. They had put a fan in the window which was so noisy it was right next to our bed, made it difficult to sleep.
Cons: As I mentioned there was only one restroom for several rooms, and it was difficult to get in much less shower or brush ones teeth. No towels at the time I was in there so just washing ones face was not easy. The food was a little more than 7/11. Coffee not available until 8 am, which seems late.

Pros: This lovely pioneer/antique boutique hotel/bnb is an oasis in a gold and brown landscape of rolling wheat fields. The grounds are green and serene with hammocks, Adirondack chairs, a pond/fountain, various "garden rooms." and blooming flowers. The lobby is gracious and comfortable. Views are terrific. The small rooms are sans phone and TV but wi-fi works well. Most rooms don't have private baths, but they are located conveniently across or down the hall. Light dinner fare was just right and included breakfast was delicious with sweet breads, veg and non-veg eggs, yogurt with granola, various juices, coffee and teas. There's a spa that I didn't use, but looked great. And the staff is just great: smiling and helpful and welcoming. Next time I will stay more than one day and just relax.

Pros: Historical hotel preserved and kept, it is like stepping back in time in this "gost" town, delicious breakfast in a cozy dining room, classical chandeliers, and squeecky stairs. Loved it!
