Fort Klamath Museum is on SR 62. Built in 1863 to protect wagon trains from Indian attacks, the post contains exhibits that depict frontier life. Native American artifacts and military medals are included. Living-history re-enactments are held. The graves of Captain Jack, a leader of the Modoc Indians, and three of his warriors are on the grounds. A historic post office also is on site. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
