Wildlife Images Rehabilitation and Education Center is at 11845 Lower River Rd. About 80 percent of the animals rehabilitated here are released back into the wild; those with permanently disabling injuries remain at the center as educational ambassadors. Tour guides provide information about the center's permanent residents housed outdoors in a gated compound. In addition to such large animals as black and grizzly bears, the facility treats smaller species, including bobcats, hummingbirds, wrens, great blue herons, baby squirrels and bald and golden eagles.
