Pros: The grounds are beautiful and it's nice that there's a path down to the river. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our bedroom was spacious, very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The public areas were also quite pleasant.
Cons: It was noisy! I understand that the building is old; that's part of it's charm, but the walls were very thin and I could understand every word being said beneath us & outside of our room. Also we could hear traffic noise. Other than that I'd rate it a 10.

Pros: The room was spacious, well-lit, scrupulously clean, and exceeded expectations in all categories. The down comforter was like sleeping in a cloud. I especially appreciated that there were both "soft" and "firm" pillows. Good breakfast too.
