On wooded and landscaped grounds next to Rogue River, this 1924 fishing lodge gives you a choice of lodge units or upscale cabins, both with modern amenities and antiques scattered throughout. Beds have comfortable pillow top mattresses and are topped with soft quilts. A few units include a whirlpool tub and all of the cabins have a fireplace. Complimentary afternoon hors d'oeuvres and local wines by the glass are available for sale. Smoke free premises. 17 units, some cabins. 2 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors. Pros: The Privacy, room décor, cookies, and the breakfast.
Cons: Ants in the bathroom. Slight sewer smell by our room entrance (cabin #33)

Pros: Charming hotel out away from the city. Walking trail down to the river. Lots of birds and trees to enjoy. Lots of moquitoes too but not to worry as the front desk as bug repelent. Our room in the main lodge was spacious.
