The lodge-style lobby and registration area is inviting, with upscale leather chairs and an impressive fireplace. A lovely café is located next to the lobby. The 7-mile ride from town is worth it. Many guest rooms have a balcony or patio and offer gorgeous golf course or village views. The resort is situated on 3,600 acres of open space and offers on-site activities like basketball, bicycle rentals, billiards, golf, hiking, horseback riding and tennis. The large playground is a popular spot for families.
