Mount Tabor Park is at S.E. 60th and S.E. Salmon sts. The park, one of Portland's largest, has an extinct volcano within its boundaries. At the top of the park stands a bronze statue of Harvey W. Scott, former editor of The Oregonian newspaper. Amenities include soccer and softball fields; basketball, tennis and volleyball courts; a playground; picnic sites; an off-leash area for dogs; and paved and unpaved walking and jogging paths.
