Pros: 1st 3 nights
Cons: I extended my stay one night and was not told of a convention raising my room rate from $170/nt up to over $340/nt . Not Impressed!! Parking at $25/nt for this location is gouging.

Pros: The staff was great and the lobby was really nice.
Cons: The rooms need a lot of work. Our first room stunk really badly of pee, and even tho the lady working the front desk was very nice and changed us rooms right away the second room was not that much better. It didn't have a strong pee smell but it definitely had a weird smell to it. And I feel like the rooms could use some updates.

Pros: The room is big and have a good king size bed. The hotel is not in downtown but there is public transport close by. It is also "walkable" to downtown, I did it couple of times and was good.
Cons: It is an old hotel and it could use an update. The vanity is just outside the bathroom (seems kind of old-fashioned). The fan in the bathroom turns on when the light is on and is noisy and the hotel is not centrally located! Completely isolated though not so far from downtown Portland. For people that like to be some quiet is good but if you are coming back from late dinner in downtown, you will need a taxi/uber/tram to reach the hotel. Small tv for the size of the room.

Pros: The bed and pillows were comfortable and satisfactory.. The staff that I encounter were very helpful, friendly along with being accommodating including the valets..
Cons: Had to go to Starbucks to get coffee in the a.m. as you don't have expresso on site...which was kind of unusual...considering how prevalent Plus the complimentary coffee that you did have was only caffeinated.. It was somewhat strange not to have a sink and in the bathroom considering that is the circumstance in most hotels including the one I stayed in the previous night which was a Holiday Inn and was one hundred and fifty dollars cheaper and I didn't have to pay for well.. Something that I will considering as an alternative in the future.. The convenience of being close to the downtown area does have its advantages but it was not completely all that much of critical aspect to my trip..

Pros: All the staff were helpful & welcoming, including housekeeping. We especially wanted to call out Clinton (evening shift at the concierge/check-in desk). He engaged with our random conversations readily. Additionally, when we spoke of a disturbance that happened in the hall outside our room in the middle of the night & police were called; he kindly offered a complimentary breakfast. We weren't looking for this, he simply offered. Thank you for assuring your staff have the freedom to make these offers. And most importantly, thank your security staff for quickly intervening & engaging local authorities in a disturbance / domestic violence situation. Well done.
