Inspector Pick (Location (to sporting venues, shopping, nature, waterfront etc.)): When attending events at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, I love that I can avoid long lines by using the hotel's private second floor entrance!

Pros: Good location
Cons: Hotel was a 2.5 star, not a 4.5 star. Amenities were average, and hotel was old. Needs a renovation. I have pictures to prove.

Pros: Location is in the heart of downtown - perfect! My room was cute (but small) complete with comfy robes and french pressed coffee.
Cons: I admit, due to the reputation of the hotel I had high hopes for service. They were not met. I stood for almost ten minutes at check-in without being greeted while two staff tried to find something for another guest. Check out was the same. Not thrilled.

Pros:
Cons: the room was dirty- just generally dated and dingy. I would not call this a 4.5 start hotel, it needs help. I would not stay here again.

Pros: The staff were kind. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The walls are thin and I could hear the person next door
