Historic. Four generations of Wachsmuths have owned this establishment since its humble 1907 beginning, when Louis Wachsmuth carted boxes of live crab to a big crab pot inside. The dining room has a sailing ship interior with many nautical curios. Recommended is the captain's assorted seafood fry, a delicious sampling of shrimp, scallops, oysters, cod, calamari, halibut and several types of seafood stew. A late-night menu is offered on Friday and Saturday.
