AAA Inspector Notes
While this is primarily a Northwest menu, the chef's Southern upbringing is evident in many dishes. Serving brunch every day makes this relaxed café feel like a Sunday all week. Most everything on the menu is fresh and made in house, even the ketchup. The brunch meal must include a flaky biscuit. The best entrée is the whole hog—a base of white corn grits on which a brined chop, a pinwheel of pork belly, smoked shoulder meat and head cheese croquette are all covered in a seasonal fruit sauce.
