AAA Inspector Notes
This small-town ice cream and burger joint has been around forever. It is the kind of place where old men hold down the U-shaped counter while nursing coffee and nibbling on fresh pie. It can be packed at lunch, as high school kids crowd the small dining rooms and the takeout window. They are known for their ¾-pound mountain burger, as well as hand-scooped hard ice cream shakes and soft-serve zebra cones. This is the kind of burger joint we all went to before the chains arrived.
