Heirloom Rose Gardens is off I-5 exit 278, 7 mi. w. on Ehlen Rd., then n. on Hwy. 219 to Champoeg Rd. and 2 mi. e. to 24062 Riverside Dr. N.E. Five acres of English-style gardens contain some 3,000 varieties of hybrid tea, English Legend, old garden, ground cover, hybrid musk, hybrid perpetual, shrub, climber, miniature and David Austin English roses. A 100-foot-long pergola has 50 rambler rose varieties.
The flowers bloom from May to October, reaching their peak in mid-June.
