Wyck House, Garden, and Farm, 6026 Germantown Ave., is the 2.5-acre estate that served as the home to nine generations of a prominent Quaker family who lived here 1689-1973. Tour guides show visitors through the house, which is filled with mementos and furniture offering a glimpse into American history. The grounds include a well-groomed rose garden widely recognized as the oldest rose garden growing in its original plan; a sprawling farm and woodlot; and several outbuildings, including a coach house, icehouse and smokehouse.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
