Allentown Art Museum is at 31 N. Fifth St. between Hamilton and Linden sts. Permanent exhibits include European Renaissance painting and sculpture; American painting and sculpture spanning three centuries; decorative arts; and Art Ways, an interactive gallery for families to explore together. Also featured are international textiles, works on paper, sculpture from southeast Asia and a library designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Approximately 10 temporary exhibitions are presented throughout the year. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$12; $10 (ages 6-12, ages 60+ and students with ID); free (active military with ID and to all on Sun.
Hours: Wed.-Sat. 11-4, Sun. noon-4 (although Thurs. 4-8). Closed Jan. 1, July 4, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
