Da Vinci Science Center, 3145 Hamilton Blvd. Bypass, includes two floors of interactive science exhibits designed to entertain and inspire children under 13 and their families. A 72-foot dark tunnel, a saltwater marine tank, an animation station, a fossil wall and Newton riding chairs are featured. An area with activities designed for preschool children is available. Live and recorded programs also are offered throughout the year.
The lobby memorializes Leonardo da Vinci's design for a horse sculpture, which was completed more than 500 years later with the help of Allentown native Charles C. Dent and others.
