The resort, nestled in the Allegheny Mountains of southwest Pennsylvania, has a rich history and even a Revolutionary War flag mounted behind the front desk. Rooms are large with plush luxury bedding. Afternoon tea is served in the lobby where President James Buchanan received the first transatlantic cable. The mineral springs, sought after for their medicinal qualities, are featured in the spa and help to fill one of the first indoor pools constructed in the country. In the evening, relax in one of the many rocking chairs on the large front porch. Smoke free premises. 216 units, some two bedrooms. 4 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: It is in a quiet setting nestled a near forest Has many activities to choose from, golfing, horseback riding swimming to name a few.

Pros: Everything about this hotel is top-notch. Beautifully restored colonial building. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Clean and well cared for. The spa experience is a must-do!
