Rooms are large with plush luxury bedding. Afternoon tea is served in the lobby where President James Buchanan received the first transatlantic cable. The mineral springs, sought after for their medicinal qualities, are featured in the spa and help to fill one of the first indoor pools constructed in the country. In the evening, relax in one of the many rocking chairs on the large front porch. Smoke free premises. 216 units, some two bedrooms. 4 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: The decor & setting
Cons: They told us their main restaurant was closed Wednesday night so we had to drive into town. But found out that actually, the restaurant was indeed open.

Pros: Overall very good experience...the hotel is beautiful, and the food we got was very good, though expensive. This was expected, however, and the experience was very good overall.
Cons: I was not impressed with the check-in process. It marred what could have been a wonderful experience. Our room was not ready when we arrived. After 2 hours, and no phone call as promised, we finally got our room key...and it didn't work. Frustrating.

Pros: The hotel and grounds were absolutely breathtaking, so clean, so fresh. The staff was incredibly pleasant! The food was delicious, and there were 4 restaurants on the grounds.
Cons: Not a thing.
