Columbus Chapel and Boal Mansion Museum is at 163 Boal Estate Dr. The Columbus Chapel was imported from Spain—where it was part of the Columbus Castle in Asturias—in 1909 by Col. Theodore Davis Boal, the husband of a descendant of Christopher Columbus. It features an admiral's desk said to have belonged to Columbus, 15th- and 16th-century artwork by European masters and two pieces of the cross on which Jesus Christ died. The mansion displays an array of Boal family items, including furnishings, papers, portraits, tools and weapons.
