Penn's Cave & Wildlife Park

Penn's Cave & Wildlife Park, 5 mi. e. on SR 192 at 222 Penn's Cave Rd., is America's only all-water cavern and farm/nature/wildlife park. A 45-minute guided motorboat tour through the cavern features limestone formations. The site is still a working farm.

Also offered is a guided 90-minute tour of some of the 1,600 acres of the property's fields, farmland, grazing pastures and mountain trails. Highlights include bison, bobcats, white-tailed deer, elk, black bears, Texas longhorn cattle, timber wolves, bighorn sheep, a butterfly garden and a mountain lion den. A visitor center, a 4,800-square-foot Miner's Maze and gemstone panning also are offered. A 2-hour off-road jeep tour is available by advance reservation; restrictions apply.

Note: Caverns are not wheelchair accessible; 48 steps lead to the dock where tour boats are boarded. The cave's temperature is a constant 52 F.
