Appalachian Trail Museum is at 1120 Pine Grove Rd., within Pine Grove Furnace State Park. The museum, once an 18th-century gristmill, houses exhibits about the founders and early hikers of the Appalachian Trail. It's across the street from a traditional resting place for hikers called Pine Grove General Store. It's also about the midpoint of the full trail that stretches from Georgia to Maine.
