The convenience to Gettysburg Battlefield was very good, but we were disappointed with the quality of this hotel. We booked this in confidence of AAA and previous stays with Comfort Inn. This facility did not come up to standard expectations.
Pros: Closeness to Gettysburg Battlefield. The roominess of the suite.
Cons: Desk staff was not welcoming and not helpful in answering our questions.Excess fees (for a green plant in the room!!!) although nominal seems quite ridiculous. I am glad I read the fine print.Breakfast was not up to Comfort Inn standards (see Monticello Comfort Inn breakfasts for comparison.)Air unit was very noisy - possibly outdated. We could hear the people in the next room.

Pros: This has always been our "home away from home" whenever we go to Gettysburg which is often. The location can't be beat and the staff is very welcoming.
Cons: We noticed on tis trip that this hotel is becoming a bit shabby. The mattresses in our room had a noticeable dip in the middle and were very uncomfortable and hurt my back. The toilet seat was falling off and the walls in the room had gouges in the paint

Pros: lobby breakfast was good and the staff were friendly
Cons: The one thing I would complain about is the air conditioner in the room. You couldn't set it below a certain degree - 60 which seems fair but the room never got that cool before cutting off. Made sleeping a little uncomfortable.

Pros: Roominess of the room was good. There was nice variety for breakfast.
Cons: Every time we went into our room, we could smell smoke (404). We were told afterward that room had been occupied by someone whose house had burned. We would've appreciated knowing this beforehand. Even better, having been giving a different room.

Pros: Hotel was clean and bed very confortable. Staff at hotel very nice but unwilling to rectify a situation I encountered.Breakfast was your usual free hotel breakfast. Chose to eat out. My niece paid $2.00 less then I did for extra night making reservations
Cons: When making reservation first called hotel because we had a wedding booking rate. I was told the hotel was under new management and they would not honor rate. Also asked about triple and aarp and was told they would not give a discount.
