Set on 26 acres, this 1862 Federal-style home was Sheriff Lightner's house during the Civil War and also served as a Union field hospital. You'll find cheerful and cozy guest rooms in the main house. The spacious, bright Walnut Cottage is perfect for families. Be sure to ask the owners for more details on the unique history of this lovely property. Homemade cookies are offered each afternoon, and a three-course scratch-made breakfast is served daily in the dining room.
