The Pennsylvania National Fire Museum, 1820 N. 4th St., is in a restored 1899 firehouse. The collection, which includes items spanning the 18th- through 21st centuries, features an 1867 carriage, interactive displays, a stovepipe hat collection and firefighters' apparatus and uniforms. A DVD presentation is shown. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$6; $5 (ages 60+ and students with ID); $20 (family, two adults and children).
Hours: Tues.-Sat. 10-4, Sun. 1-4. Closed major holidays.
