The Pennsylvania National Fire Museum, 1820 N. 4th St., is in a restored 1899 firehouse. The collection, which includes items spanning the 18th- through 21st centuries, features an 1867 carriage, interactive displays, a stovepipe hat collection and firefighters' apparatus and uniforms. Various fire safety videos are shown.

$6; $5 (ages 60+ and students with ID); $20 (family, adults and children in same household).
Hours: Tues.-Sat. 10-4, Sun. 1-4. Closed major holidays. Allow 30 minutes minimum.
