AAA Editor Notes
Curtin Village is at 251 Curtin Village Rd. The 1830 Federal-style mansion was the home of Roland Curtin, owner of the Eagle Iron Works. Curtin's 30,000 acres provided products for making iron as well as food for the entire community, and the village was self-sufficient until the Eagle Iron Works burned and closed down in 1921, ending 111 years of production.
Guided tours are available.
