Indian Echo Caverns, off US 322, offers a 45-minute guided, narrated tour amid the natural beauty of stalagmites, stalactites, columns, flowstone and lakes. The caverns are electronically lighted, contain level pathways and maintain a constant temperature of 52 degrees Fahrenheit. Visitors may pan for gemstones at Gem Mill Junction or interact with goats in the petting zoo. Hayrides also are offered in the fall.
Guests who cannot walk through the caverns can enjoy a non-walking video tour.
Note: Backpacks and large bags are prohibited inside the caverns. Two covered picnic pavilions are available.
