AAA Inspector Notes
The handsome Greek Revival home overlooks the Delaware River and the Roebling Bridge, North America's oldest suspension bridge. Rooms offer cozy baths and various sized layouts in sleeping quarters. The downstairs breakfast area and common room are spacious enough to allow for comfortable mingling. Western author Zane Grey, whose books and stories provided the basis for countless movies and television series, lived and wrote in Lackawaxen before moving to California to be near Hollywood. His nearby home is now a museum run by the National Park Service. Smoke free premises. 6 units, some kitchens and cottages. 1-2 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors.
