The Amish Farm and House is 5 mi. e. off US 30 (Lincoln Highway) at 2395 Covered Bridge Dr. Tours of this 1805 farmhouse and of the furnished one-room schoolhouse explain the past and present Amish lifestyle. Farm equipment, barns, animals and an original Conestoga wagon and an 1855 covered bridge can be seen on the 15-acre farm. Wood-carving demonstrations are available Mon.-Sat., April through October. A 90-minute minibus tour of the nearby countryside is offered as well; phone for details. A Taste of Amish Country minibus tour with dinner also is available.
