Bube's Brewery, 102 N. Market St., is a mid-19th-century brewery that operated until Prohibition. Built by Alois Bube, a German immigrant, the brewery is 43 feet below street level, beneath a Victorian hotel that also houses three restaurants and a brewery museum. A Murder Mystery dinner and an Escape Room experience are offered by advance reservation. Guided tours are available. Food is available.
Quick Little Tour free. History tour $10. Ghost tour $10 (non-dining guest); $5 (dining guest). Reservations are required for the ghost tour, which is not recommended for ages 0-11.
Hours: Quick Little Tours of the catacombs beneath the brewery that have been converted into a dining space depart daily 5:30-closing, depending on guide availability. History tour departs Sat. at 9 p.m.; phone to confirm availability. Ghost tour departs the first and third Fri. of the month at 10 p.m.
