Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve is within Thompson's Mill Section of Washington Crossing Historic Park at 1635 River Rd., across from Thompson-Neely Farmstead. It includes a 134-acre wildflower area with a visitor center, native plant exhibits, about a dozen hiking trails and indoor exhibits. Picnicking is permitted in the front, outside the deer fence. Picnicking is permitted.
(includes guided tour) $6; $4 (ages 62+ and students with ID); $3 (ages 4-14).
Hours: Preserve daily 8:30-dusk. Visitor center daily 9-5, Apr.-June; Tues.-Sun. 9-5, July-Dec. Guided tours depart Tues.-Sun. at 2, Apr.-Oct. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve-New Year's Day.
