AAA Editor Notes
Joseph Priestley House, 472 Priestley Ave., contains the laboratory and scientific apparatus of Dr. Joseph Priestley, the Unitarian theologian who discovered oxygen. The house contains period furnishings. An exhibit at the visitor center depicts the life of Dr. Priestley, who emigrated from England in 1794. An orientation video is shown at the Pond Building.

Guided tours are available.

$6; $5.50 (ages 65+ and veterans with ID); $4 (ages 3-11); free (active military with ID and family). Cash only.
Visitor center open Sat.-Sun. 1-4, mid-Mar. to mid-Nov. Guided tours depart on the hour 1-3; other times by appointment. Closed Easter and Mother's Day. Phone ahead to confirm schedule. Allow 1 hour minimum.
