Venango Museum of Art, Science and Industry, 270 Seneca St., has exhibits dedicated to ten thematic areas regarding the discovery of oil. The Black Gold or Black Magic exhibit showcases the role oil still plays in our lives. “Fuel-less,” a 16-minute video explaining the importance of recycling, shows how very different life would be if there were no longer any products made from petroleum. The museum features a restored 1928 Wurlitzer organ, which is demonstrated for visitors. A 1937 Cord Phaeton automobile also is on display.
