Historic. This restaurant is found within a stone building built in 1740 as a stagecoach inn. Prior to his presidency, James Buchanan owned the building. His sister-in-law's brother, Stephen Foster, wrote some of his songs here. The menu features steaks, veal, pork, seafood and chicken. Try the veal Capri, tender medallions of veal, jumbo gulf shrimp and diced tomatoes sautéed in a tarragon cream sauce.
