Bartram's Garden is entered from Lindbergh Blvd. w. of 54th St. Formerly the 18th-century farm of Colonial botanist John Bartram, the estate is now a 45-acre public park on the banks of the Schuylkill River. The grounds feature the furnished Bartram family home, the botanical garden, walking paths, a wildflower meadow, wetlands and a historic cider press. A restored 19th century garden features roses, dahlias and peonies.</br>Guided tours are available. </br>
Grounds free. House or guided tour $12; $10 (ages 65+ and youth); free (ages 0-2). Reservations are recommended for tours.

Hours: Grounds daily 9-5. Tours offered Thurs.-Sun., early Apr.-early Dec. House tour departs at noon and 2. Garden tour departs at 1 and 3. Closed major holidays. Allow 1 hour minimum.
