AAA Editor Notes
Science History Institute, 315 Chestnut St. between 3rd and 4th sts. in the renovated 1865 First National Bank building, offers a collection of exhibits to highlight the important role chemistry, chemical engineering and other related sciences has played in advancing everyday life. Historical items in the collection include scientific instruments, rare books, the personal papers of scientists and artwork. Temporary exhibits are included. Guest speakers discuss various topics the first Friday evening of each month from March through December.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 45 minutes minimum.
