Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania is at 100 E. Northwestern Ave., between Germantown and Stenton aves. in Chestnut Hill. Within its 92 acres of ever-changing landscape are 13,000 labeled trees and shrubs and colorful gardens. Highlights include a formal rose garden; a glasshouse fernery; and Out on a Limb, a 450-foot canopy walk exhibit (wheelchair accessible) that takes visitors 50 feet into the treetops.

$17; $15 (ages 65+); $9 (ages 3-17, students and retired and active military with ID).
Daily 10-4 (also Wed. 4-8, June-Aug. and Sat.-Sun. 4-5, Apr.-Oct.). Guided tours are available Sat.-Sun. at 2. Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
