Mount Pleasant, off Kelly Dr. to 3800 Mt. Pleasant Dr. within Fairmount Park, was built 1762-65 by Scottish sea captain John Macpherson. The Middle Georgian mansion features classical architecture and craftsmanship of Colonial Philadelphia.
