National Constitution Center occupies a city block between 5th and 6th sts. at 525 Arch St. within Independence National Historical Park. Devoted to preserving the legacy of the U.S. Constitution and inspiring active citizenship, this museum features hundreds of interactive exhibits, rare artifacts and films. Signers' Hall is sure to amaze with its 42 life-size bronze sculptures of the nation's founding fathers. Don't miss the 17-minute presentation of “Freedom Rising,” a 360-degree theatrical production illustrating important milestones in American history. Note: One of the 12 original copies of the Bill of Rights is on display in a special exhibition through 2017. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours, 30 minutes minimum.
