Penn's Landing, between Washington Ave. and Spring Garden St. along the Delaware River waterfront, marks the site where William Penn landed in 1682. The 37-acre site offers scenic views of the Ben Franklin Bridge and the Delaware River. RiverStage at the Great Plaza at Columbus Blvd. and Chestnut St. and Festival Pier at Columbus Blvd. and Spring Garden St. host more than 50 festivals, concerts and events in summer. Other highlights include Independence Seaport Museum, the historic ship and restaurant Moshulu and Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest (open late Nov.-late Feb.).
