Polish American Cultural Center Museum, opposite Independence National Historical Park at 308 Walnut St., maintains a portrait collection celebrating well-known Polish figures. Among the scientists, artists and leaders portrayed are Revolutionary War hero Gen. Casimir Pulaski and late 20th-century freedom fighter Lech Walesa. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
Hours: Mon.-Sat. 10-4, May-Dec.; Mon.-Fri. 10-4, rest of year. Closed major holidays.
