AAA Editor Notes
Rosenbach Museum and Library, 2008-2010 Delancey Pl., exhibits books, manuscripts and fine and decorative art collected by the Rosenbach brothers. Though not always on view at the same time, collection highlights include manuscripts by Geoffrey Chaucer, Charles Dickens and James Joyce as well as books once owned by Abraham Lincoln and Herman Melville. Other authors and political figures represented include William Blake, Lewis Carroll, Miguel de Cervantes, Bram Stoker, Phyllis Wheatley, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington. Illustrations and manuscripts by author Maurice Sendak also are featured. A docent-led tour of the Rosenbach brothers' 19th century townhouse is included with admission.
