The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, on Avenue of the Arts between S. Broad and Spruce sts., includes The Kimmel Center, Academy of Music and Merriman Theater and is home to the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Pennsylvania Ballet, Opera Philadelphia and several resident music and theater companies. The center houses the 2,500-seat Verizon Hall, the 650-seat Perelman Theater and the SEI Innovation Studio and is enclosed within an arched-glass atrium.
