The hummus and fresh pita are so great I had to pace myself to save room for the rest of my delicious meal. Can't get enough of it!

Located atop a small hill at St. James Place, this lauded restaurant serves up authentic Israeli cuisine. James Beard Award winner Michael Solomonov's menu is relatively simple, featuring staples like pita, roasted meats, hummus, Haloumi and pickled vegetables, but the kitchen execution is superb.
