Carnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Ave., part of the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, displays American and European paintings, sculpture and decorative arts from the 16th century to the present. The Hall of Architecture's collection of monumental architectural casts is thought to be unique in the United States.
The Heinz Architectural Center surveys past and current architectural expression through the exhibition of drawings, models, photographs and related materials. Free gallery tours are given regularly.
