Children's Museum of Pittsburgh is .5 mi. n. via the 6th St. Bridge at 10 Children's Way (Allegheny Center). Interactive exhibits for children of all ages encourage imaginative play and hands-on learning. Exhibit areas include a multimedia art studio; an attic; a garage; the MAKESHOP creative workshop; a nursery; a theater; and Waterplay, a space where children can interact with water in its various stages. Traveling exhibits, classes, art displays and performers—including puppeteers and storytellers—also are offered.
Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
