Animals are featured in naturalistic exhibits such as a tropical forest, Asian forest and an African savanna. The Kids Kingdom offers sea lions and a petting zoo with deer and goats as well as a play area. The Islands exhibit features warty pigs, siamang gibbons and Philippine crocodiles, while capybaras, fossae, giant anteaters, a pygmy hippo and ocelots are found at Jungle Odyssey.
The PPG Aquarium features species from habitats such as the Amazon River, Antarctica, the tropics and Pennsylvania streams and rivers.
